Rabbits are the third most surrendered animal at shelters, often purchased as children’s pets

Therefore I illustrated and wrote a children’s book designed to raise awareness about proper rabbit care for young children.

My goal was to create an engaging resource that blends storytelling & education. I wanted to encourage empathy and responsibility in young readers, by debunking common misconceptions about rabbits and guiding them to the right way.

Don’t Feed Bunnies Carrots is more than just a story it’s a step toward a world where bunnies are no longer abandoned, but instead loved and understood. My hope is that with each reader, more bunnies will no longer have to worry about being left behind, but can be certain of a home where they truly belong.
